Ah! If we're not in bed by 9:30 we can't read any Herriot, so we usually pack it in at the latest by then, and peter out around 10. Why, is dawn not a common occurrence in everybody's life? :)
It would be nice to get up earlier and have some time alone before the kids wake up, and there is nothing quite like witnessing the beginning of a new day. When I worked grounds crew one summer at BYU I loved early morning trash duty because #1 Less people were around to watch me change the garbage and #2 I got to see some beautiful sunrises. By the way yesterday while you were enjoying the break of day in Georgia here in Utah it was around 5 degrees.

Goooood grief! Are y'all going to have a white Christmas for all that cold, or is it just cold? I can't say I blame you about the garbage.
