going gray

Why do I love this picture?  It's dark, and indistinct, and it doesn't really have any particular story to tell. 

Except...except that this is the guy that I met in way back in college, the one that promised to "go gray" with me.  And...do you see?  Right there in the front of his hair?

The beginnings of a kept promise.
